Plastic Hydrometer Sample Jar - 1 1/4 in. x 10 in.

Sample jars are designed to hold a sample of beer, wine, or other liquids while measuring with a hydrometer. The plastic base resists tipping, and the clear acrylic tube is easy to see through to read your hydrometer.

The 10 inch tall jar is the most common size used with standard hydrometers. The 1-1/4 inch width is wide enough to minimize contact between the hydrometer and the wall of the jar, but small enough that you do not need a large sample.

This hydrometer should not be used for high-proof alcohols, as the alcohol can dissolve the glue and cause leaking.
