Introducing the next evolution in brewing: the FermZilla 55L. Born from the genius minds and experienced engineers behind the iconic Fermentasaurus Gen 1, this new iteration encapsulates advanced design and function. While the original Fermentasaurus was a game-changer in its own right, the essence of innovation is continuous improvement. We've listened to the valuable insights and feedback from our dedicated community of Fermentasaurus enthusiasts, channeling their wisdom into refining and perfecting an even more advanced conical unitank.
New and Improved:
1. Larger Dump Valve - 3" butterfly dump valve is more resistant to clogging from large amounts of trub
2. Larger Opening - 4.75" top port opening allows for easier cleaning
3. Higher Temperature Rating - improved plastic resin allows for hot filling and heat sanitizing
4. Less Headspace - more appropriately sized for 5-gallon batches. Purging the headspace of oxygen is easier and more effective.

pressure fermenting is the way to go!!!
Product showed up quickly. It was easy to put together. The only issue I have is it will dent at the bottom where the holder is touching it when you fill it up. I lifted up on it and it pushed back out. Set it back down carefully and it didn't do it again. Other than that it seems to work great.
Great fermentator, good way to tak out hops, yeast. And have beer almost carbonated
I have purchased 2 of these from here. I was pleased with the first one so much I went ahead and picked up another one. Assembly wasn't difficult and after washing and sanitizing I had my first beer in it. I do like being able to see what is going on inside. I also installed the cooling coil and it as been working well. The jacket looks nice and seems well make too. I have been having trouble with the second one I purchased. Everything seemed to be going well but after I added the 10 gallons of wort and pitched the yeast I noticed that the fermenter had slid down in the stand and the support pieces were pushing into the fermenter quite a bit. I was able to lift the fermenter back up and it did stay there for a short time but it again dropped back down pressing the sides of the fermenter in. The first fermenter I purchased has not had this problem. I did contact support but they stated they have not heard of this happening before. Could be it just a bad fermenter or maybe the stand wasn't made correctly. I'm not sure but to keep it dropping down I have to presurize the fermenter. Not really pleased with with the situation. Shipping was prompt and my order was complete, no missing parts. Hopefully no one else has this problem. They are relatively expensive and I don't feel I should be having problems with one of them this early. I will say the first one I purchased here has not given any problems like this.
This is going to save my a lot of time Can’t wait to get started
